PDX Black Excellence (PDXBE) is a professional and social networking organization catering to Portland’s black community and its advocates. Our mission is to celebrate and connect black Portlanders in an inclusive, positive, and fun environment that promotes diversity in Portland!
If you’ve loved a recent PDXBE event, promoted business, or curated content, know that it was only possible thanks to donations from people like you. And if you’re hungry for more, (or just like what you’ve heard), there’s no louder way to say it than with a donation of your own!
There are two ways to donate
Donate a Venue
At the heart of the PDXBE mission is celebrating and generating black spaces in the city of Portland: from promoting local businesses to highlighting or organizing social events, mixers, and cultural experiences.
Venue donations are the most direct way to help us to do both.
If you're a local business or event center, donating your venue for a PDXBE event—by waiving the fee or offering a discount for use of your space—profoundly enhances our ability to bring together and serve the people of our community. In exchange for your donation, we would be happy to highlight you as a supporter of PDX Black Excellence, and identify opportunities for future promotion and integration as well.

Donate Financially
As a growing non-profit organization, the generous financial support of our community has been and remains critical to our impact in the city of Portland. Already, with your help, we’ve been able to sponsor such programming as youth financial literacy workshops, mental health conferences, a Know Your Rights seminar, Voter Registration barbecues and so much more. But our work is far from finished, and contributions from people like you are what inspire us and allow us to fulfill our mission.
