PDX Black Excellence (PDXBE) is a professional and social networking organization catering to Portland’s black community and its advocates. Our mission is to celebrate and connect black Portlanders in an inclusive, positive, and fun environment that promotes diversity in Portland! From executives to artists, students to entrepreneurs: everyone is welcome. We believe that embracing diversity, from the scale of a city to a single Saturday night, is at the center of fostering new innovation, new business, new relationships, and new understanding.

We do not discriminate against anyone. All are welcome to partake in any of our events, and we believe a collaboration with Portland’s business community would be ideal to help us realize this mission!

As a new organization still growing in stature, our funding is limited. If you have a venue and would consider offering a fee waiver or discount for its use in future PDXBE events, it would be an insurmountable help in our effort to make these type of occasions happen for the people of our community.
